Make Your Own Aloe Vera Face Mask With Calming & Gentle Effect for Your Face (DIY)

Everyone likes to have smooth clean skin on their face. While it can be tempting to buy face masks at the store, they’re not only pricey, but many contain harmful chemicals that can actually cause long-term damage.

This aloe face mask is super easy to make, and you probably have everything you need to make it in your kitchen cabinets. This mask contains all natural ingredients that will not only soften, and smooth your skin, but will also help shrink your pores, and deep clean as well. It smells wonderful and always leaves me feeling refreshed.

The Aloe Face Mask (as promised):

What You Need:

  1. 1 packet of chamomile tea
  2. 2 tablespoons of baking soda
  3. 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
  4. 2 tablespoons of aloe vera juice

In a medium sized bowl, combine all the ingredients together, and whisk until the lumps have disappeared. You may want to add the baking soda one tablespoon at a time to keep lumps from forming. The coconut oil mixes best when it’s above 76 degrees, and is in a liquid state.

Store your aloe face mask in a sealed container to use at your convenience. Keep in mind that if you keep it in a cool place, the coconut oil will likely solidify again. This won’t pose any problems to the face mask, but just be aware that the texture may be different if this happens until it begins to melt again.aloe face mask.

How to Apply?

To apply the mask, shake the jar to mix well. Dip your fingers in the mask, and apply it to your face liberally, avoiding the nostrils, and eyes. Leave the mixture on your face for fifteen to thirty minutes. The mixture should never burn, so if for some reason you feel like it’s irritating your skin, wash it off immediately. Once you’ve allowed it to sit on your skin for the time needed, use a warm, moist washcloth to gently remove the aloe face mask.
